Job Description
Houston's premier outsourcing company is looking for motivated individuals for temporary full-time position. The duties will be focused on Accounting Assistance.
Job Requirements:
Accounts Payable (AP) (Surepoint/Rippe Kingston)
Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
Schedule and prepare payments via check, ACH, or other approved methods.
Maintain AP aging reports and communicate regularly with vendors.
Assist with proper documentation and coding of expenses.
Billing (Surepoint/Rippe Kingston and Legal ebilling platforms)
o Generate and distribute client invoices based on time entries, fee arrangements, and
disbursements.
o Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure accurate and timely billing.
o Monitor billing schedules and track unbilled time and expenses.
o Comply with the Firm’s standardized billing processes and templates.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Recording (Surepoint/Rippe Kingston)
o Record incoming payments via check, wire, or electronic transfer.
o Apply payments to client accounts and outstanding invoices.
o Maintain accurate records of receivables and client balances.
o Assist in identifying past-due accounts for follow-up by internal staff.
Reconciliation
o Reconcile bank accounts and trust accounts on a regular basis.
o Ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
o Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
o Provide reconciliation reports as needed for internal review.
Payroll (Paycom)
o Process semi-monthly payroll runs, including salaries, bonuses, and
adjustments
o Ensure accurate withholdings for taxes, benefits, and other deductions
o Prepare and distribute pay stubs and direct deposit notifications
o Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws.
o Coordinate with HR to ensure timely updates to employee compensation and status.

Must be Detail Oriented with Organizational skills
Must be able to work in a High-Volume, Fast-Paced Environment
Strong Computer Skills and Spreadsheet Conversion knowledge
Must be able to work Independently and work well Under Pressure while performing daily tasks
Candidate MUST be able to pass a Drug Screening and Background Check
