Job Description

**This role is remote 
****Must have an Active DoD Clearance
****Experience as a Data Scientist in a DoD Environment 
********This is supporting an upcoming need that will begin fall 2025

Primary Functions: 

• Lead data analysis and modeling efforts, transforming complex weapons maintenance, material, and operational data into actionable plans to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead data gathering, cleansing, and exploration, utilizing a variety of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD SECRET Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
• At least five (5) years’ expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Five (5) years’ experience in programming languages like Python, R, SQL, and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
• Five (5) years’ experience with complex data analysis, cleaning, and management using tools like SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing technologies.
• Understanding of U.S. Navy weapons systems, maintenance processes, and fleet management practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or custom visualization platforms for creating reports and dashboards.
