Job Overview: We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations, forecasting, and growth initiatives to support the next stage of scale. The Director of Finance will oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, risk management, reporting, and decision-support analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a growth environment, builds structure, and enjoys turning financial insights into action.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Lead and/or facilitate annual budgeting and planning processes.
• Build 12–36 month financial models for growth and scenario planning.
• Develop revenue forecasting tools and cost analysis.
• Provide actionable insights to leadership regarding margin, cash flow, risk, growth implications, and capital allocation.
• Provide profitability insights and initiatives across all business units.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate on AR/AP processes and improve collections/terms optimization.
• Coordinate/Collaborate on tax filings, audits, and external financial relationships (CPA, banking, lenders).

Cash Flow & Risk Management

• Maintain daily/weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting.
• Support inventory financing, credit lines, and capital planning strategies.
• Monitor overall performance and recommend process optimization.
• Develop cost optimization strategies across procurement, logistics, and overhead.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Procurement & Leadership teams.
• Provide financial visibility to support key decisions and investment planning.
• Build metrics/KPI reporting for C-Suite.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA preferred)

7+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting; distribution or pharmaceutical experience a plus

Strong financial modeling & Excel proficiency (pivot tables, forecasting, scenario modeling)

Experience managing budgets, cash, and P&L responsibility

Ability to simplify financial complexity into leadership-ready insights

Growth mindset — comfortable building processes within a scaling organization

ERP/Accounting system experience (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
