Raytheon provides end-to-end space solutions – from ground control systems to on-orbit sensors – to keep our customers informed and ahead of the threat. Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. Using complex algorithms, they process all of the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt. In this role you will work onsite with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software in Java and C++.
Raytheon is hiring a hands-on Principal Software Lead to support our teams in Aurora, CO . You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to programs and technologies you are passionate about. This is meant for an engineer with experience developing software that also is interested in leading engineers through their career development. Also, the successful engineer will need to tackle some responsibilities working with customers and DevSecOps responsibilities to ensure seamless and timely delivery of software deliverables.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
