Join our team as a Full-Time Retail Store Associate, where you'll play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers! In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, processing customer transactions, and keeping the store clean and organized. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50, Year 3 - $20.00, Year 4 - $20.00, Year 5 - $21.00 Your Responsibilities: You'll embrace the values of ALDI while performing your duties, which include: Processing customer purchases and managing transactions efficiently. Keeping the store tidy through regular cleaning and organization efforts. Stocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays attractively. Providing warm and prompt customer service, assisting with any shopping needs. Working collaboratively with team members and the management team to ensure a seamless store operation. Monitoring inventory and reporting any discrepancies to management. Adhering to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Following established company policies while ensuring confidentiality and security of information. Performing additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: As part of your role, you'll need to: Stock and place products on shelves, which may weigh up to 45 pounds. Engage in physical activities including standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking throughout the store. Complete all duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should: Be at least 18 years old. Deliver exceptional customer service. Efficiently and accurately operate cash registers. Safely use store equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Maintain cleanliness to company standards. Be familiar with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Work well independently and in a team. Stay organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask. Satisfy any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: We prefer candidates who have: A high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a retail environment. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
