Works closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system. Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle. Essential Functions:Proficient with embedded C/C++, object-oriented design, real-time, multi-threaded programmingExperience with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks RTOS, Linux, QNX)Ability to quickly analyze and understand large and complex existing software systemsAbility to develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentationAbility to identify, track, and repair software defectsAbility to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment Ability to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideasContributes to the completion of specific programs and projectsAbility to Obtain a US Security Clearance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
